BULGARIA PROFESSIONAL DRAMA THEATRE COMPANIES

"Dimitar Dimov" Drama and Puppet Theatre - Kardzhali

The theatre was founded in 1960. It has a hall with 550 seats and a permanent ensemble of 24 actors. It has a diverse repertoire spectrum - from classical drama to contemporary plays. Five or six productions are done yearly and about 100 performances are presented per season. The theatre is financed by Bulgaria's Ministry of Culture and the Kardzhali municipality.
