Rodopa Drama Theatre - Smolyan
The theatre was founded in 1951. It has a permanent ensemble of 6 actors and
a three-hall building. The larger hall has 674 seats and the smaller ones have
99 and 60 seats. The theatre has a diverse repertoire spectrum - from classical
drama to contemporary plays. Seven productions are done yearly and about 85
performances are presented per season. The theatre is financed by Bulgaria's
Ministry of Culture and by the Smolyan Municipality.
