"Konstantin Kisimov" Musical and Drama Theatre - Veliko Tarnovo
The theatre was founded in 1952. It has a permanent ensemble of 12 actors as
well as vocal solo performers, a ballet, choir and an orchestra. It owns a two-hall
building. The larger hall has 650 seats and the smaller one has 100 seats. The
theatre has a diverse repertoire spectrum - from classical drama to contemporary
plays. Eight or ten productions are done yearly and about 80-120 performances
are presented per season. The theatre is financed by Bulgaria's Ministry of
Culture.
