Drama and Puppet Theatre - Vratsa
The theatre was founded in 1938. It has a permanent ensemble of 19 actors and
a building with a 784-seat large hall, a 100-seat small hall, a 80-seat puppet
hall and a 80-seat ballet hall. The theatre has a diverse repertoire spectrum
- from classical drama to contemporary plays. Four or five productions are done
yearly and about 180 performances are presented per season. The theatre is financed
by Bulgaria's Ministry of Culture and by the city municipality.
